17 Binge-Worthy Real Estate Shows on Netflix (2022)
I absolutely love binge-watching property shows, I can’t get enough of them and the I’ve found to watch them is Netflix!
There can be simple makeovers, high emotional tear-jerking episodes to drama-filled mayhem and madness.

I can access the programmes when I want, at whatever ungodly hour of the night I want, on any device I want and wherever I happen to be at the time!
Best of all, the whole season is available immediately, no waiting till next week, next month, next time you get a signal, NO!
Right now! (My inner single child syndrome appearing, sorry)
Darling, it’s fabulous.
I am a sucker for almost any real estate show on Netflix, although I do not possess green fingers, so you won’t get me watching too many gardening programmes.
Unless of course, they are renovating the WHOLE garden with lighting, fencing, bricks etc, if it’s all plants and grass… Next programme, please.
Over the Christmas period, I binge-watched many real estate programmes and so I thought I would help you out with all the shows on Netflix for 2022.
You’ll be surprised what you can find on there, I have to be honest and say some of the shows I watched multiple times and others I watched 1 episode and called it a day.
Binge-Worthy Real Estate Shows On Netflix
Time is too precious for me to waste on programmes that aren’t up to par, but ultimately you have to judge for yourself.
Ok here we go
17 – Interior Design Masters
Season 1, 2019

Fun-packed, drama-filled show.
Potential interior designers are placed in real-world scenarios where they are given a brief and then have to put their ideas into practice.
Think “Great British Bake Off” meets property.
The prize is a life-changing commission to redesign a historic London hotel’s bar.
It’s a fast and understated furious, brilliant watch for aspiring interior designers or those that want ideas to revamp their homes.
More seasons are available on BBC iplayer.
16 – Million Dollar Beach House
Season 1, 2020
This is all about luxury Estate Agents selling Real Estate in The Hamptons.
The properties are gorgeous, stunning, breathtaking, ridiculously expensive and I love it!
There are only 6 episodes to this FORTUNATELY, as all it does is whet your appetite for other reality TV Estate Agents programmes.
I will go into more detail about my most favourite at the very end of the list.
Your Home, Made Perfect
Season 1, Season 2 2020

In each episode we are presented with homeowners who want to renovate their property, they have to choose between two architects designs.
But what makes this programme unique is each architect presents their idea to the homeowners in a virtual reality world.
So the homeowners get to see what their home would look like, they can walk around and really experience the new space.
The programme takes you from the start of construction all the way through to completion.
Did they stay within budget?
Does the virtual match up with reality?
Find out!
More episodes are now available on BBC iplayer so switch AFTER these episodes.
Get Organized with The Home Edit
Season 1, 2020
These two organise Angels go into the homes of the rich and famous as well as ordinary unknown folks, they tidy, colour coordinate and meticulously organise.
This programme takes organisation to a whole new level.
You can really pick up some tips and tricks for your own home, which you can do yourself and save $250 an hour.
If you are nosey like me, you would love to see the inside of other people’s homes… fun, fun, fun.
Dream Home makeover
Season 1 & 2, 2021
This married couple shows that it’s possible to live together and have a business together.
We are shown how they renovate the properties of ordinary folks into dream, Instagrammable properties.
For one reason or another, these families decide to renovate rather than up sticks and buy another property.
It’s lovely to watch the husband and wife dynamic as well as see them engage with their children.
The Parisian Agency
Season 1, 2021

Kretz family own an estate agent business in France.
As well as introduce us to all members of the family, they show us the various chateauxs and apartments they sell on behalf of their uber-wealthy clientele.
During the first episode, the kids put Grandma on an online dating website and lie about her age, I mean this is an epic introduction to the family.
Instant Hotel
Season 1 & 2, 2019

This is ultimately an Australian version of “Four In a Bed”.
The teams are not hotel or bed and breakfast owners, they are Airbnb owners visiting and staying in each other’s properties.
The owner wins the coveted prize of Best Instant Hotel.
Like the UK version, there is lots of tactical voting, dramatic twists and OCD hygienic guests complaints.
Awesome.
The Most Amazing Vacation rentals
Season 1 & 2, 2021
Not many of us have had the pleasure of travelling recently, so this show WAS sorry, IS so needed.
There is one guy (Luis D. Ortiz, Million Dollar Listing New York) and two gals, who visit amazing places to stay around the world.
Filmed during the pandemic, but they managed to sell us the dream.
What I love most is all the places can be find on Airbnb or Hotels.com, visit the websites and discover the properites for yourself.
They took Tripadvisor to a whole new level!
Tiny House Nation
Season 1 & 2, 2019

If there was ever a programme made for homeowners living in London, this is it!
Two gentlemen travel around the USA assisting families to build homes at a maximum size of 500 square feet (46m2).
These families let us into their home design and their reasoning for choosing compact dwellings.
The results are amazing, definitely worth a watch.
Motel Makeover
Season 1, 2021
BFF’s (Best Friends Forever) turned business partners, practically demolish rundown, cringe-worthy, (can’t believe people are paying for these) motels into boho-chic, Instagrammable ready motels.
The best bit is seeing the end result.
What seems like an impossible situation looks gorgeous in the end, well worth a nighttime watch.
Marriage or Mortgage
Season 1, 2021
The title of this programme had me intrigued and I was dying to know more, I mean why would there be a choice between the two, really?
So engaged couples have over time saved up a substantial amount of cash for either a dream wedding or a dream home.
An expert Estate Agent shows them potential dream homes for their budget and an expert wedding planner shows them a potential awesome wedding.
As this is actual reality (or so we are told) they can only pick one.
Go along for the ride and shout at the screen (like me) about which option is best for each couple.
Amazing Interiors
Season 1, 2018

I am bored to death of bland, magnolia or white interior spaces.
This show brings us into the homes of individuals that have completely transformed their homes.
Using an array of designs, colours, materials based on personal passions and interests.
Although the majority really aren’t my cup of tea.
I love seeing the extent people will go to feel comfortable in their own private spaces.
How To Live Mortgage Free with Sarah Beeny
Season 1 2018

This is an absolutely amazing programme, it’s a dream to be able to pay off the mortgage and use that money for anything else.
To know you have a property outright paid for, 100% yours is amazing.
That is exactly what these property owners share with us through their experiences in designing, building or buying property and becoming mortgage-free.
There is some real ingenuity involved and I love to see it.
Stay Here Makeover. Make Money
Season 1, 2018
Homeowners are shown how to turn their domestic dwelling into a cash cows by making their properties appealing and available to rent in places like Airbnb.
It’s your basic makeover show with a slight twist.
You learn all about the homeowners and the reasons they are deciding to share their homes with the general public for a fee.
It’s an interesting watch, again because I am nosey and dying to see a good ole makeover.
Selling Tampa
Season 1 2021
Oh, my days! Where do I begin… this is Housewives of Atlanta meet property.
An all-female, black-owned Estate Agency selling property in Tampa.
This is beautiful luxurious property served with a side order of style and attitude.
This is just the first season, it’s explosive.
I am indeed here for the drama and jaw-dropping properties.
A must watch and this show made me, literally forced me to watch all episodes over 2 nights, 2am was no stranger to me and my TV.
Selling Sunset
Seaons 1, 2, 3 & 4, 2021
I have saved the absolute best for last, the absolute best my dear, let me tell you.
This programme is all about twin brothers that own an estate agent in Los Angeles.
Their agents sell the most amazing, expensive, ascetically pleasing properties to celebrities and extremely affluent individuals.
Along the way, we get to witness office politics and interoffice relationships.
The fashion is top-notch and totally impractical for everyday wear, the jewellery and hair are the overtop.
If this was the 80’s, Dallas and Dynasty would be put to shame.
(If you have no idea about 1980’s Dallas and Dynasty, then baby it’s past your bedtime.)
Each season gets more and more dramatic, the villain becomes the victim.
The victim becomes the victor, losers become winners, babies are born, dramatic relationships break up and marriages take place.
All in the awesome backdrop of Selling Sunset of Los Angels Skyline.
Fricking awesome viewing.
Have I watched all episodes multiple times?
Yes, I have.
Have I chosen a favourite character?
Yes, gosh, I love this show.
